I recently went down to visit the King Family Lakes and took my son out of school for a couple days. I wasn’t really comfortable taking him out of school but I weighed the benefit of spending a couple days with his dad fishing and focusing on one-on-one time as opposed to learning more about common core math! Guess which one won out? As we spent the weekend together, I realized that my son’s view of the world needed to include what life should be like in reflection to what is was like most of the time in this fast paced hustle and bustle world. Needless to say, the time was well spent and the company was awesome along with some great fishing. Consider it for your next father-son/daughter trip. You will be glad you did!!
